2024 marks an incredible 25 years in the business – and Jamie Oliver is still disrupting the industry, still making progress with child health, still making change where it’s needed. And why?
“Because I can use my profile to help others, that’s why social impact is at the heart of everything I do,” he says. “I started Fifteen in 2002 – it remains one of the best things I’ve ever done – before championing school dinners in 2005, and child health has been the legacy I’ve been building on ever since.”
And he’s not done yet! He’s learnt that it’s not about creating these big moments, these thunderclaps, it’s actually all about the ripples. Recipes, restaurant visits and cooking classes are little things that have the potential to have a positive effect for years to come – one small thing can make beautiful things happen. So here’s to more ripples!
